Experience the stunning beauty of Bergslagen from this delightful little holiday home! This is the perfect place for lovers of nature and wildlife. A rowing boat is included in the rent so that you can explore the beautiful lake which is right next to the cottage.

The small, but well planned, cottage sleeps five people. There's one double bed and one bunk bed that fits three (the lower bunk is 140 centimetres wide). The kitchen sink and the shower are outdoors, on the terrace. The kitchen, living room, and bedroom are open plan and tastefully decorated. The well-kept kitchen features the basic amenities, such as an electric cooker, a fridge-freezer, and a coffee maker. The toilet is in the annex, it is a separett-style toilet (a waterfree composting and urine diverting toilet). A delightful, wooden terrace surrounds the cottage, and the lake is right next to it. Why not take a morning swim and then return to the terrace for breakfast? Later you can take the boat out on the lake and try your hand at fishing, or take a longer boat trip over Norrsjön, visit the charming village of Loa, and continue through the beautiful river that connects Norrsjön with Sörsjön. The owner will lend you life vests and has a boat motor that can be rented.

The village of Löa has a café, art exhibits, and a second hand shop. There's also a minigolf course and a bathing dock. The village has an interesting history as an old mining town. There's also an old saw mill that you can visit. Drive north towards Kopparberg for three kilometres, and you will reach the inn Älgen where they serve lunch. In Kopparberg you will find a good ICA Supermarket, Systembolaget (where you can buy wine and liquor), and several restaurants. From July-August you can visit the Opera “Opera på Skäret”, which is a fifteen minute drive north of Kopparberg.

You can pre-order bedlinen and a final cleaning service if you want to. Household waste must be source separated for recycling.

The cottage is insulated and can be used in the autumn. The autumn in Bergslagen is absolutely gorgeous with crisp air and beautiful colours!
