Cozy cottage in quiet and sunny surroundings by the fish-rich Rystraumen on Kvaløya, 30 km west of Tromsø. Magnificent views from the cottage and terrace towards the sea and the beautiful landscape. In autumn and winter, the northern lights can be experienced in all shades of color in the sky on days and nights with good weather.

The cottage has 2 levels, where the living room is on the lower level while the kitchen is on a slightly higher level. 2 bedrooms, one with a 1.20 m wide bed, the other with a single bed. It is 70 m from the car park in summer and winter, with a footpath to the cottage.

• Final cleaning is not included and can be agreed with the owner upon arrival.

Very good sea fishing in the strait below the cottage, and here you can fish with a rod from shore.

Great hiking areas, an ideal starting point for day trips by car to Sommarøya on the west side of Kvaløya. Here you can walk in the beautiful coastal landscape with idyllic sandy beaches, enjoy the fresh sea air and the midnight sun. From here you can take a car ferry to the island of Senja and invite you to a great round trip by following the main road E6 back. Visit the Polarzoo zoo where animals such as reindeer, wolves, bears and many more can be experienced up close. From Senja you can take a ferry to Andøya, where whale watching is an exciting experience.

25 km to the airport, 30 km to Tromsø city with many shops and restaurants. The city has been the starting point for many polar expeditions to the Arctic Ocean throughout history and in the city's museums you can study photos, history and objects from this time.
