Vakantiehuis in Ödeshög Ö

At the end of the road is this croft, about 2.5 km outside the historic town of Vadstena. Separated from other houses with lovely forest as the nearest neighbor and cows grazing in the pastures around.

The house has a large garden and many free lawns to run on for both children and dogs. Next to the house is a terrace that is cozy to sit and eat at or have your afternoon coffee. Here you can spend nice barbecue evenings during balmy summer evenings and maybe get to see both moose and deer at the forest edge.

The two bedrooms are upstairs, one with a double bed and extra bed, the other has two single beds. Downstairs there is a kitchen, spacious living room with cozy wood burning stove and bathroom with washing machine, toilet and shower.

Only a few meters from the gable of the house is a large pond where some seabirds sometimes move in. About 5 km from the house is Lake Lorasjön where you can take a cooling bath, or walk in the woods and pick mushrooms and berries.

The house has a good location with proximity to many sights and nice strawberry places to visit. The closest is Väderstad, the small town with i.a. a widely famous patisserie with very good pastries. There is also a tavern, interior design shop and a seafood shop.

If you want to go on an excursion, Vadstena with its beautiful old houses and cobbled streets is a cozy place to visit. Here are nice little shops and a nice swimming area. To Lake Sommen with its many islands it is about 20 km and to Östergötland's largest bathing place Varamobadet with a long fine sandy beach it is about 4,5 km

If you are interested in golf, there are many golf courses to choose from within a 45 minute radius. Sweden has many markets during the summer, in the vicinity of Väderstad there are three markets during June, July and August in i.a. Ödeshög and Skänninge.
