This delightful holiday home is set amidst scenic nature, on it's very own beach plot, by lake Mälaren. You will by just next to the beach, which has a bathing dock, and a rowing boat is included in the rent. This is an excellent place for those looking for a countryside holiday place still just less than an hour's drive from the city of Stockholm!

The interior of the cottage is in excellent shape and very tastefully decorated and furnished. The kitchen and living room are open plan. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and there's a second double bed on the delightful mezzanine. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower.

The garden plot is huge, all of 1500 square metres. A garden grill is included, so that you can enjoy barbecues out in the garden, whilst admiring the beautiful view of the lake. This is a paradise for nature lovers. There are great hiking and cycling paths and excellent chances of spotting wildlife and birds. If you enjoy fishing, you can rent a boat or a canoe nearby, or take part of an organised fishing trip. Don't forget to get a fishing license! On some days there are organised boat trips from Mariefred to Västerås and Stockholm. If you'd rather drive to Stockholm, it's only a 50-minute drive.

The cottage cannot be rented by large groups of youths.
