In front of the apartment there is a nice and sunny terrace with garden furniture, from here there is a direct access to the houses light and fully equipped kitchen, with a dining area suitable for four people. From the kitchen there is a stairway leading you to the 1 floor. The living room is furnished with a cozy lounge area with basket furniture, a sofa bed suitable for two people and two amazing relax-chairs for relaxing in front of the television.
On the main floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, a large cabinet and a dressing table. The spacious bathroom includes a shower, a toilet and a washing machine. There are extra cabinets in the hallway in front of the bathroom.
There is tile flooring in the kitchen, bathroom and hallway with floor heating. The bedroom and living room is furnished with carpets.
Right across from Niels Skiverens Gaard you will find Skiverens Camping. As a guest at Niels Skiverens Gaard you have access to all the facilities available on the Camping ground. Fx. minigolfer, swimming pool, playground, fitness and wellness,etc.
The mile-long and wide beach in Skiveren is only located 200 meters away from Niels Skiverens Gaard. It is allowed to drive your car on the beach and there are plenty opportunities to enjoy water activities such as surfing, kitesurfing etc. or have fun with sports and games in the sand. You can easily bicycle from Skiveren to the nearby towns or nature areas. It is possible to bike on narrow roads, the beach, the nature grounds, the bicycling trails and even mountain biking trails. In the nearby town Tversted, you can visit the popular "det blå ishus" (the blue ice cream house) and enjoy a tasty ice cream. In the same area you can visit Eagleworld and learn more about the large birds of prey.
One of Denmark's most beautiful golfing courses, Hvide Klit, is located only a 12 min. car ride away from the apartment. There is five other golf courses in the area: Hirtshals golf course, Sindal golf course, Hjørring golf course, Frederikshavn golf course and Sæby golf course.
In the area there is different attractions to experience, for example Grenen, where the two oceans, Skagerrak and Kattegat meet. Skagen is only a 25 minute drive away from Skiveren. In Skagen you can experience Skagen's art museum with creations from Carl Locher, Viggo Johansen, P.S Krøyers and many others. As part of the art experience in Skagen, you can also choose to visit Michael and Anne Anchors house or Holger Drachmann's house.
Are you interested in the beautiful nature surrounding Skagen, we recommend a visit to Danmark's larges wandering dune, Råbjerg Mile. The so-called "mini desert" is an amazing experience for both children and adults. Råbjerg Mile is located in between Skagen and Skiveren.
