The house "Knasten" is beautifully located on a sheltered, slightly hilly plot of virgin land with lots of trees with only 800 meters to a child-friendly beach. Outdoors you will find a large terrace with garden furniture and sun loungers. Part of the terrace is covered, so you will also be able to find a shade.
The family dog is also welcome and you will find plenty of opportunities for long walks along the beach, over Hulsig more and in the dune plantation. Take a walk along the beach from the holiday home to Skagen and after enjoying a nice lunch, return either on foot along Hulsigstien or by train from Skagen to Hulsig. Hulsig Station is 550 meters from the holiday home.
The holiday home has three lovely bedrooms - one with a double bed, one with two single beds and the third with a bunk bed (suitable for adults as well). Nice bright bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and a washing machine. The kitchen-dining room is the heart of the house. Beautiful, bright, simple and lightly decorated - nice relaxed atmosphere. Small kitchenette with stove, refrigerator & freezer and dishwasher. Nice dining area and nice living room with a wood burning stove and TV. From both the kitchen and living room you have direct access to the terrace and outdoor area.
The area offers lots of wonderful experiences and excursions. RÃ¥bjerg Mile, Denmark's largest hiking dune, is only 4 km from the holiday home. The wide sandy beach in Kandestederne is 5 km from the holiday home and if you prefer the slightly wilder North Sea rather than Kattegat, you can take a dip in the big waves here. During the summer, Hjorths Hotel in Kandestederne serves lovely coffee and wonderful lunches - we recommend a visit.
Skagen town and Grenen, Denmark's outermost tip, where the seas Kattegat and Skagerrak meet, are of course also a MUST. Also remember a visit to Skagen's Museum, Anchers Hus, Kystmuseet (the Coastal Museum) and one of the many artisan shops in Skagen city.
