This authentic and super cozy holiday home is located close to one of Jutland’s finest bathing beaches. Inside, you’ll find a cozy furnished living room with a wood-burning stove and a nice dining area. From the living room, there is access to a lovely covered veranda with garden furniture. Adjacent to the living room is a small but functional kitchen area with, among other things, a dishwasher. The house has a neat bathroom with a shower. Sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms, each with a double bed. For the little ones, there’s both a highchair and a cot available.
The house is on a beautiful and well-maintained plot with a swing set and a large lawn—perfect for play and outdoor relaxation. Several terraces provide the opportunity to enjoy both the morning and evening sun. A truly charming house located in the old holiday home area, within walking or biking distance to the beach.
The holiday home area around Grenaa Beach is very peaceful, child-friendly, and attractive. Close to the house, you'll find heathland and forest with several running and cycling trails, including Denmark’s longest single track for mountain biking (23 km). The beach is among the best in Jutland, featuring dunes, shallow dips, fine sand, sandy seabed, and a Blue Flag designation. Nearby is the marina, bustling with life in the summer and home to several excellent restaurants. It’s also where you’ll find the Kattegat Centre, offering close encounters with sharks and playful penguins. From the harbor, there are daily ferry departures to Halmstad in Sweden and to the island of Anholt.
Grenaa town offers many charming shops and cafés, as well as the Museum Østjylland. From Grenaa, it’s about a 30-minute drive to Scandinavia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, and about an hour to the tropical Randers Rainforest.
