Charming cottage at Hansnes on the island Ringvassøya north of Tromsø. The cottage is located in quiet surroundings by the ocean with great views of Langsundet towards Reinøya. Ringvassøya has a great hiking terrain, perfect for walks along the lake and in the mountains for the entire family. On clear evenings, the Northern Lights can be seen from mid May to mid July. There are many lakes for fishing trout. 15 feet boat with 8 hp motor can usually be rented from May 1st - September 1st. You must bring your own rods, life jackets and petrol (petrol can be borrowed). Private lease of boat/motor must be made on location. Freezer of 60 l and access to freezer of 150 l. 55 km to the city Tromsø - the starting point for many polar expeditions to the North Pole. The city also has a long history of fishing and hunting in the Arctic Ocean which can be studied at the museums. Tromsø is called the Paris of the North.
