Holiday cottage located on an open plot adjacent to open space and conservation area. The decor is very spacious with a bright living room in open plan with the kitchen, 3 bedrooms and a mezzanine. The mezzanine has a small TV for DVD movies, not connected to the antenna. Large bathroom with whirlpool and sauna, guest toilet and several terraces. Bedrooms are located on either side of the hall, which makes the house ideal for 2 families who wish to spend the holidays together. The furnishings are modern and tasteful. In order to reduce energy costs the house has a heat pump. Free admittance to water park.

From 15.5. to 31.10. each year there is a swimming pool on the terrace. The water is heated only by the sun and is 1 m long and have diameters of 5 m.

On the plot - which is great and reasonably undisturbed - there is a swing, sandpit, playhouse and trampoline (usage at own risk/insurance) for the kids.

With a few kilometres to the sea and beach, a scenic area ideal for hiking and in beautiful surroundings, a cottage area at Tranum Strand was founded in 2009. The area is designed for modern, busy families who want peace and quiet of the holiday, but at the same time would like to have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors when the weather and the desire is to it. The holiday cottages in the area are almost all equipped with whirlpool, sauna, satellite TV with German channels and a modern interior in high quality. Each house stands on its own plot and access to the houses is via the small connector roads minimising driving in the area. The large common area in the middle of the area has the following activities, free of charge for all the guests in the area:

Hiking and cycling trails which crossing the area

Krolf arc with croquet holes (can also be used for mini golf)

7x7 m pavilion with barbecue hut

When the weather is for trips to the beach, Tranum has a lovely sandy beach with clean water that receives EU quality label 'Blue Flag' year after year. From the parking lot to the water's edge there is a ramp so that wheelchair users also have easy access to the sea.

Starting at Tranum Strand there is a relatively short distance to many of North Jutland's famous tourist places like Fårup Summerland, Blokhus, Aalborg Zoo, Aalborg Tower, Klitmøller windsurfer paradise, Bulbjerg's steep cliffs and the North Sea Science Park in Hirtshals. Do not forget to take a walk along the sea and buy a freshly caught fish directly from the cutter - there is still inshore fishing in the area.
