Vakantiehuis in Ballstad

Great place for anglers who want to fish in the sea in Lofoten. The apartment is located on a jetty with a great view of the archipelago beyond, 2,5 km east of the fishing village of Ballstad.

The apartment has TV where you can watch German and Norwegian channels via Chromecast. Free wireless internet. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with 2 single beds that can be put together to a double bed, and 1 with a family bunk bed (the lower bunk is 150 cm and the upper bunk 80 cm). Large parking lot. Sauna available. Shared laundry room. On the quay you will find outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The house has 2 x 400 liter freezer capacity.

On the ground floor, there is a room for organizing and storing fishing equipment and preparing fish on the scullery bench with running water and light.

The fish-rich Vestfjorden invites you to exciting fishing trips. 2.5 km to the fishing village of Ballstad, which has a cozy restaurant. 11 km to Leknes, which is West Lofoten's "capital" with many restaurants and shops. Also visit the many well-known fishing villages in Lofoten. The Fisheries Museum in Kabelvåg has a large collection of old boats and fishing equipment that can be studied up close. Close by is a gallery and aquarium where sea fish can be studied close up.

Boats are availeble for rent between 1 May and 1 October and must be preordered:

• 18 ft boat with 10 hp motor, sonar, chartplotter, 2 rod holders
• 20 ft Bellcraft boat with 100 hp, sonar, gps, chartplotter and 4 rod holders
• 18 ft self-draining aluminum boat with steering console, 25 hp Honda outboard motor, fish finder, 4 rod holders.

The boats are tied to a floating dock next to the house. Please note that boat rental needs to be paid in EUR.
